Club members were treated to a nice garden outing with a trip to WPT Garden Expo. With a slight adjustment to the bus schedule and recruiting a bus driver from NASCAR, we made it to the Expo in time for the 10:00 a.m. seminars with time to spare. Most club members found several seminars that were worthwhile. The only problem that came up was finding a seat in some of the more popular seminars.
The trip organizers deserve a vote of thanks from the club, especially Barb, Jane and Sue along with Barbara P for the good job on publicity.

SEEDS, SEEDS, SEEDS......
The garden club has again purchased flower, vegetable, and herb seeds from 'America the Beautiful'. This organization provides slightly outdated seeds to non-profit organizations for just the cost of shipping and handling. We will be giving the seeds to food pantries and other groups.
